Prudential Committee

 

The Williamstown Prudential Committee is a five-person board elected to staggered three-year terms in annual elections held each year in May. The Prudential Committee reports to district voters and is charged with the responsibility for the operation and fiscal oversight of the district.

The Prudential Committee meets the FOURTH Wednesday of every month at 4pm

Prudential Committee Members

  • Dave Moresi - Chair

    David presently serves as the vice chair.

    Originally from North Adams he has resided in Williamstown with his wife and 2 daughters for over 10 years. He brings experience in the field of commercial construction and management as well as spent 22 years working in emergency services as a paramedic. He also servers on the board of Northern Berkshire EMS.

  • Lindsay Neathawk - Vice Chair

    Lindsay was elected in 2021 and is the first ever female Prudential member.

    Lindsay is a Lanesborough native, and has living in Williamstown with her husband and two children since 2005. She owns her own sign company here in town since 2010. Lindsay is active in the community and has served on past committees and boards such as the towns Sign commission, Berkshire Nursing Families, and currently is in charge of Williamstown Elementary School PTO.

    Johns has been on the committee since 1963.

  • Joe Beverly

    Joe grew up in Williamstown, and after moving back and buying his childhood home in 2000. Joe is a retired Firefighter of almost 31 years from the North Adams Fire Department, with the rank of Lieutenant. He has owned and operated his own electrical business since 1987. Joe is also the electrical inspector for Williamstown for the past 7 years. He believes his knowledge in construction and fire department operations is be an asset to the community and hope to serve the community with pride as he did in North Adams.

  • Alex Steel

    M. Alexander Steele was born in Williamstown. He has been a certified firefighter, instructor, and fire inspector for over 10 years. Alex has worked with public service and local civic organizations since 1996. An Eagle Scout with BSA, Alex also worked as an EMT-P and a volunteer for the Greylock ABC House. He has studied geology from Alaska to New York to northern Italy. He works as a Fire Marshal in a neighboring state.
