Building Committee

The Building Committee consists of four fire fighters, four general community members, and the town manager.

Committee Goals

The Fire District Building Committee aims to provide for the community a facility that meets the operating and safety needs of our firefighters for at least 50 years and advances the town and the commonwealth’s goal of attaining net-zero carbon emissions, and to do so at best possible lifetime cost.

The committee typically meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 4:00 p.m.
Meetings are typically hybrid—in person at the current station (34 Water St.) and on Zoom
