On May 29th, Williamstown Fire responded to numerous flash flooding calls after the area was hit by a heavy rainstorm. Williamstown Fire was originally dispatched to a fire alarm activation on Main Street, which then turned into responding firefighters reporting that numerous roads in town were flooded and impassable. There were reports of several vehicles across town that were stranded in roadways due to rapid raising water and reports of flooded basements. Some roads were closed for a few hours due to the flood and washouts conditions. At this time, there were no reported injuries from the storm.
